Will You Remember Who You Are?

There is a question that lives in all of us.
Sometimes it hums beneath the surface, barely audible in the chaos of the day. Other times it echoes sharply in the quiet—when the world softens and the masks slip. A wondering we carry, often without words: Is there more to me than I’ve been told?
We are born knowing.
We know not in thought, but in presence. In vibration. In the fluid, open way children meet the world without apology or performance. But slowly, over time, we learn to forget. We learn to become acceptable. We learn the shape of silence. And we trade pieces of ourselves for love that was never meant to be conditional.
Still, the soul remembers. It does not abandon us.
Every breath holds choice. The smallest one can be the most powerful. Not the kind of choice that shouts or forces, but the kind that shifts the axis of a life quietly: I will no longer abandon myself. I will no longer wait for permission.
This is the revolution. Not a loud one, but a sacred one.
There is no outside key. No final step. The way is within.
And yet, it is not lonely. Because even when it feels like you are walking alone, you are leaving footprints that someone else will one day follow. In this way, remembrance becomes contagious. The more you remember, the more others begin to. Like a field of wildflowers—one bloom at a time.
Will you remember who you are?
Will you look in the mirror and not flinch?
Will you allow your power to rise not as something earned, but something that was never lost?
It takes courage to choose yourself. To soften into truth rather than armor. To ask questions without needing answers. To be both fierce and tender.
But maybe, just maybe, that’s what you came here for.
Not to fit in.
But to remember.
Love,
Beyond Light Academy
